This is a garden centre packed full of excellent plants and bucket loads of character. Many of the plants are grown on site, something very few of the larger garden centres can claim. This is important for the average gardener because they can be sure the plants will thrive in the climate of their gardens.
If you are looking for roses, shrubs, seasonal bedding plants and all the standard stock found at other garden centres, you will find it at Parkhall in abundance. But they also specialise in a few areas which makes them stand out from the crowd. Large specimen shrubs and trees are one of their specialities and they are unrivalled in the area for the choice and condition of their larger plants.
One area where they are also unbeatable is their stock of bamboos and other less common plants. It doesn't matter if you are looking for small or large varieties, this is the place to visit for these types of plants.
If pots or containers are on your shopping list, forget the rest and visit Parkhall Garden Centre. The choice of pots is massive, all shapes sizes and materials are available. An attractive plant pot or container is one present a gardener will really appreciate at Christmas of for a special occasion.
On top of all that, the layout of the plants area is ideal for wandering around and exploring around corners, nooks and crannies. Some of the areas are gravel some are hard paved. The shop area has recently been reorganised and they sell all those gardening essentials such as composts, weedkillers, plant feeds, statues, bird feeds etc.
